                                  About The Author

Don Richter received training through Elim Bible Institute in Lima, New York and was ordained for ministry through Elim Fellowship International.  He served on their Board of Administration and various committees for many years, and continues to serve as an area and regional representative.  Don was instrumental in the founding of Mid-Hudson Christian Church in Wallkill, New York, and served as senior pastor for 22 years.  His heart is focused on the ministry of the local church.  By God’s design he was called out of his role as a local pastor to minister to the need many young pastors and leaders have for a father in the faith. 

His vision and desire is to see congregations enter into all that God is establishing within His church.  He believes the purpose of every congregation is to grow into the Headship of Christ, with a mission to fulfill the great commission Christ gives the church in Matthew 28:16-20. 

 

Don is Founder and Director of Harvest Preparation International Ministries, an apostolic ministry network, established in Africa and Mexico.  He has been instrumental in planting churches in the United States and Mexico.  He ministers to thousands of pastors and leaders each year, in Cuba, Mexico, Ukraine, Russia, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, Haiti, Guatemala, and the United States.  His ministry to many is personal and relational, not only through teaching and training, but through the relationship of fathering and mentoring as well.

Don has been married to his wife, best friend, and fellow worker, Lois, since 1957.  They grew into parenthood with the help of three wonderful sons, Chip, Jeff, and Matt and have been blessed with five amazing grandchildren, Ben, Jenna, Megan, Brittany and Austin.  Their home and ministry office is in Sarasota, Florida.

        Inside The Book
